CARRIAGE SHAFT (COMPLETE W/ PARTS)
Shaft drives the carriage and includes a pulley, pinion gear, and bearings all press fit in place. Replace shaft if gear or pulley worn, or a bearing is damaged. (Rattling sound during motion indicates a worn pinion gear.) Gear rack and pulley belt are usually replaced at the same time as shaft.
